At Devan Plastics we endeavour to recycle where we can, from old tanks through to cardboard from packaging. Based in Tauranga, Devan Plastics are motivated to protect the environment for future generations through sustainable practices at their Tauranga and Christchurch manufacturing plants.
As a manufacturer of polyethylene water tanks, septic tanks and on-site waste water treatment systems from polyethylene, Devan Plastics strive to communicate to customers that plastics and the environment can co-exist.
Devan’s product stewardship programme called the ‘Tank Takeaway Programme’ is an example of how this is demonstrated. This recycling programme is an Australasian-first for large water tanks. Devan’s products harvest rain water and naturally treat grey and black water, which is then dispersed over the land as a clear and odourless liquid fertiliser.
